· Facilitate the recruitment, training, supervision, direction, and evaluation of seasonal and part time staff.
· Advise Facility Management in advance of program equipment and supply needs.
· Monitor day-to-day operations of athletic and recreation programs such as resolving complaints and ensuring that programs have the necessary materials.
· Maintain scheduling software and website for Huntsville Community Center.
· Perform necessary manual labor and skilled tasks that could require use of heavy lifting, stooping, bending, and twisting.
Desired Qualifications
Basic computer programs and other office machines.
Ability to communicate orally and in written form with other staff members and the public.

· Responds to public inquires about aquatic programs.
· Oversees the maintenance of the swimming pool.
· Reviews existing aquatic programs and revises or makes changes as necessary.

Knowledge of filtration and chemical injection systems.
Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Environmental Improvement Division (EID) regulations to assure compliance and public safety.
